    This was a good module on mobile marketing. This has developed somewhat in that the diy websites offer automatic responsive websites that adapt to mobile devices, they also allow for one to adjust the same website to fit mobile devices. In particular this module has shed light on the benefits of using applications for companies who seek to make direct sales from loyal customers. It works best when a level of trust has been developed- the customer have purchased from the site and satisfied with the products/ services. A great example of this is the Starbucks app.
    I have recommended retail clients utilize SMS marketing and QR codes to generate leads and build foot traffic to a store.

    Agreed. Mobile marketing is a necessity as it allows businesses to engage and connect with their customers. People are so connected with their cell phones and they use it for everything from finding the location of a store to even checking and comparing prices.
